Dr, Chang is a Seattle native whose interest in optometry began during her first childhood eye exam as a patient at Roosevelt Vision! She was impressed with the clarity of vision and the friendly and warm relationships developed as a patient throughout her childhood. Those experiences were a strong influence throughout her schooling and in her ultimate career choice in optometry. After graduating from Garfield High School and the University of Washington, she went on to Optometry School at the University of California, Berkeley where she also completed a residency in Contact Lenses and Ocular Disease. She has over 10 years of experience practicing in the greater Seattle area and is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Optometric Physicians of Washington, and the King County Optometric Society.
Outside of work, Dr. Chang stays busy with her husband, 3 young children, and 2 Jack Russell Terriers. She enjoys exploring local kid-friendly venues, cooking for her family, running, and is currently training for a half-marathon.
"My goal is to help every patient achieve their maximum vision potential, have comfortable eyes, and maintain good eye health with thorough, respectful, and compassionate care. I strive to listen carefully to individual visual requirements and take time to explain exam findings and treatment options. I believe in utilizing the latest technology and best available optical products to meet these goals.”
