It is with a sense of sincere gratitude that I am announcing my retirement from Roosevelt Vision in mid-October 2020. I had originally planned to stay until the end of the year but with COVID-19 in our midst, and our decision as a business to limit schedules and doctors in the office to keep our staff and patients safe, it now makes sense to step away sooner.
As this may be my last chance to communicate with many of you, please know that it has been a great privilege caring for you over the past 38 years. The memories of my time serving you will provide me with great pleasures that will last……forever.
I’m also leaving with a tremendous amount of pride in the quality of eye care that Roosevelt Vision provides and will continue to provide. My father, who started this practice in 1949, would be both amazed and deeply proud of what his practice has become as the doctors and staff I leave behind to set a benchmark for quality eye care. It is my sincere hope that you will continue to allow Roosevelt Vision the honor of continuing to serve your eye care needs. Also, I do promise that they will not subject you to bad jokes!
Best Wishes and Sincerely Yours,
Scott A. Jamieson, OD
