At Berkeley Optometry, Dr. Kim served as her Class President and Trustee of the American Optometric Student Association. After graduating, she worked at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Tacoma, Washington where she served veterans in our armed forces and managed diverse medical cases. She has also worked in other private practices in Seattle and Portland, Oregon before joining Roosevelt Vision in 2019.
Here at Roosevelt Vision, Dr. Kim provides diverse medical eye care including treatment of diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts, as well as taking interest in specialty contact lens fitting and dry eye management.
Dr. Kim has been an active member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and Optometric Physicians of Washington (OPW) and has provided humanitarian eye care in Mexico and Honduras through Volunteers of Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH International). She hopes to complete more missions in the future.
Dr. Kim and her husband are glad to be living in Seattle with their children. They enjoy traveling domestically and abroad to learn about different food and culture.
